"Mountain Echoes" is part of my Uncovered series and was s inspired by the mountains of northwest Wyoming.  I have traveled to the Tetons many times over the years and I'm always awed by how beautiful and jagged they are.  This painting uses that as inspiration but much of it comes from the feel that I get when in the mountains.

In my Uncovered series, I intentionally leave parts of the birch panel exposed—it’s not just a design choice, but a metaphor. To me, it represents the courage it takes to be open and honest about what we’re going through. Life isn’t always easy, and sometimes showing our raw, unpolished selves can feel vulnerable. But I believe that in those exposed places, we find connection, understanding, and healing. When we allow ourselves to be seen by those we trust, we create space for shared stories, support, and growth.
